In the show “Bad Girls Club” these so called bad girls have been found and brought together into one mansion in order to prove how tough they truly are. Thousands of viewers have tuned in to watch the vicious fights among these girls, and not to mention their provocative ways of having “fun”. Though the screams, fights, and even sex may look real, Kayleigh Severn from season 5 says otherwise. After being kicked off the show by one of the girls in the house Kayleigh and a fellow housemate talked about their experience being on the show. The girls admit that many of the events that occurred on the show were legit; however all of the show was staged. The producers of the show would sometimes suggest the girls to act certain ways. Furthermore, Kayleigh says that the producers manipulate the clips they filmed in order to produce perception then what really took place.
How Reality TV Fakes It
Introduction
Wednesday, April 13, 2011
My Super Sweet 16 is an absurd MTV reality series documenting the lives of spoil teenagers, usually in the United States, Canada and UK, who usually have wealthy parents that throw huge coming of age celebrations. The producers of this co called “reality show” only broadcast bits and pieces of what really happens during the process of arranging the parties. The teenagers are portrayed as brats. Recently, most episodes consist of unlawful teenagers acting in erotic behaviors toward their parents. The obscure casting directors portray unreliable perception of reality. It seems as if the camera is only around when the characters are feeling stress out, aggravated, and are lashing out towards their friends and family. During the process of editing producers are likely take this opportunity to alter reality by only displaying the chaotic dramas viewers see when they watch “My Super Sweet Sixteen”.
A favorite show amongst teenage girls from across the country would probably be The Hills. A spin off series of the hit Laguna Beach, The Hills followed the lives of five twenty-something year old women living in the Hills of Los Angeles. On the show we followed them through break-ups, finding careers and fights with each other. It seemed as if they lived extravagant lifestyles with lots of partying at clubs and red carpet events. Most thought this is what it was like to be a part of the LA elite, until the series finale when they revealed that they had been filming on a TV set in Hollywood, revealing that to some extent that the series was either scripted or completely fake. Brody Jenner, a star on the show, told MTV when questioned on whether or not The Hills was fake, “There were a lot of moments that were real and a lot that were not so real.” Another star from The Hills, Kristin Cavallari told People Magazine “Nothing you see on TV is real. Fans need to understand it’s all entertainment. It’s all in fun. I would never put my close friends or a relationship on a show.”
Real Housewives
The Real Housewives is a show on lifetime television. It’s a reality show about women in different city’s all around the United States. They go around and cast women for these shows. That’s not reality. It is just finding the women with the most money and having them as a member on the show. They put out ads for the casting call, tell the women exactly what they are looking for. Reading in an article about the add they say “These women should live affluent lifestyles in the San Francisco Bay Area and be comfortable with cameras following their day-to-day activities. Put your best stiletto forward and show us how amazing your life is with an uninhibited unscripted video”. They just won’t women with money and a crazy life. They are not looking for what an average person life is like in these places. These shows don’t show how the regular person lives in these cities, because not all people have that much money to throw around.
Bear Gryll Man vs. Wild
Man vs. Wild is a Televsion show on Discovery Channel. You would expect that this channel would put out show that are true, but when it comes to Man vs. Wild that isn’t the case. Bear Gryll the guy that goes around and does these adventures claims to be the real deal. Living in the wild, and surviving off the land. In many episodes there are things that are enhanced, or not real. Take this video, it comes from one of the episodes, but it doesn’t show it on the show. It’s an out take. He is trying to make across this ridge and there only one bridge that doesn’t look stable but in reality people cross it all the time. Also he isn’t in the middle of no were. He is in a populated area with people all around. At the end of the video it show right where he is, there’s a road, and people stopping to look around. So ask your self do you think that Bear Gryll is the real deal when I come’s to surviving in the wild.

Jersey Shame
The Jersey Shore is a show on MTV that videotapes the lives of 8 Italians living the “Guido” life. This show makes you think that you are watching real Guido’s live a crazy filled life of partying and GTL (Gym Tan Laundry). This show is also not as real as it seems. There is reports from Crew insiders that say this show is scripted. The random one liner outburst that the situation says he receives from a script backstage. Pauly D, and Snooki both have hair dressers to do their hair so I guess it really doesn’t take Pauly D 25 minutes to do his hair maybe it takes someone else that time to do it but not him. Most of the situations on the show are rehearsed and planned. The fights between Ronnie and Sam are fake, some inside sources say they are still together. The arrest that happen to the house mates are fake they do this to make good television. Overall this show does bring a lot of attention and humor to itself, but for watching “REAL” Guido’s live their everyday life I guess you’ll just have to go to Italy and see it for yourself because Jersey Shore is FAKE!
